Chapter 4

Proverbs 4 (Jean)

"The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.” Proverbs 4:18-19

“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.” Psalm 36:9

Getting wisdom is like turning on the light in a dark room; it makes all the difference when you need to find something.

The light switch is the presence of God. Turn it on and find the answers you need to know. He has given us everything we need to walk out this life of faith. Ask. Wait for it...wait for it... Ahhh!

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

Don't worry about having it all together before you ask for wisdom. But be teachable so when it comes you can receive it and walk in it.

“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

Don't be passive.
